About Vithalrao Yeshwantrao Chavan Polytechnic

V.Y. Chavan Polytechnic, Khanapur, is a new technical education institute established in 2025 under the Lokmanya Education Society and founded by Dr.Kiran D. Thakur. The institute aims to provide quality technical education through hands-on learning and is committed to developing skilled, ethical, and employable graduates. It offers admission to students who have passed 10th or 12th grade, with plans for well-equipped labs, libraries, and placements in various companies.
• Establishment: Founded in 2025 by the Lokmanya Education Society.
• Founder: Dr.Kiran D. Thakur, who is also the Founder Chairman of the Lokmanya Multipurpose Co-op Society.
• Location: Khanapur, Karnataka.
• Facilities: The institute is equipped with a library, computer library, and well-equipped laboratories. Future plans include a new, modern building.
• Admissions: Admissions are open for 10th and 12th pass students, with 60 students being admitted to each department.
