At VYCP, we follow a transparent, merit-based admission process designed to help students from all backgrounds access quality technical education. We welcome SSLC/10th pass students and those from ITI or PUC Science streams.

Admission procedure
ADMISSION CRITERIA: Application for admission to the Institute should be filled in the prescribed form with necessary fees. Candidates seeking admission to Diploma course must have passed S.S.L.C. or X Std. equivalent examination.
The Student should submit the following Original documents( Sl.no : 1 to 7) for the approval by the DTE along with three sets of photocopies
1. S.S.L.C Marks card/ Equivalent examination Marks card.
2. School Leaving Certificate issued from last Institute studied.
3.Seven Academic years study certificate, signed by School Principal / BEO for Karnataka Students.
4. Caste certificate issued by competent authority in respect of SC/ST student of Karnataka. (Note – Above documents should be given with two photocopies).
5. Four copies of Stamp size photographs and two copies of passport size photographs.
6. Non-Karnataka (Boards other than Karnataka) students should obtain Migration certificate from parent board and Eligibility certificate from the Secretary of Board of Technical Examinations, Bengaluru.
7. Submitting Self Attested Aadhar Card is compulsory for the candidate seeking admission.
8. All the above documents in Soft Copy should be submitted to office.
NOTE: Students who have completed two years of ITI in Karnataka, are eligible for Lateral entry(Second year) admission. Students who have passed PUC II, Science in Karnataka are eligible for Lateral entry(Second year) to any of the desired .
